Derek Cohlmia, DDS, a third-generation dentist, is dedicated to the overall health and well-being of his patients. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Dr. Cohlmia’s passion for dentistry began at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his undergraduate degree. He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, solidifying his commitment to providing exceptional care.

During his time in college and dental school, Dr. Cohlmia extended his service beyond the clinic, participating in mission trips both locally and globally, reflecting his heart for helping others. As an active member of the American Dental Association and the Oklahoma Dental Association, he stays engaged in the dental community to ensure his patients receive the highest quality of care.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Cohlmia is passionate about education. He leads a dental assisting school that offers accelerated, hands-on training for individuals pursuing a career in dentistry. Students thrive in the dynamic and comprehensive learning environment he provides, where they gain practical experience and real-world skills.

When he’s not busy creating healthy, beautiful smiles, Dr. Cohlmia enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and cheering on the OKC Thunder at basketball games. His leadership, expertise, and genuine care for both his patients and students make him an outstanding dentist and boss!

Sherry brings over 20 years of experience in creating outstanding first impressions. She takes pride in warmly welcoming our patients each day, always greeting them with a smile that sets the tone for a positive experience. Her friendly personality and attention to detail make her an essential part of our team.

When she’s not brightening the office, you can find Sherry on the tennis court, staying active, or enjoying precious moments with her family. Her warmth and energy, both at work and at play, truly make her a standout member of our team!
